"It is not a matter of IF you die, it is WHEN you die," said the counselor. I have a close friend who leaves next week to seek treatment for anorexia nervosa. She is not a textbook anorexic and doesn't fit some of the descriptions one might hear about this disease....rather she takes control of her eating (or lack thereof) when stress arises. Her appetite disappears and no matter what she says to herself, she doesn't feel like eating. I have been praying for her a lot lately....praying she will claim victory and view her stress and food in a healthy manner. I know she can with God's help!
